Description
Nylon is an exceptionally strong, durable, and versatile 3D printing material. It is flexible when thin, yet exhibits very high inter-layer adhesion, making it ideal for applications such as living hinges and other functional parts. Nylon filament prints in a bright natural to white color with a translucent surface and can absorb color post-process using most common acid-based clothing dyes. Due to its extreme sensitivity to moisture, it is highly recommended to take drying measures during storage and immediately prior to printing (using desiccants, vacuum, or elevated temperature) for optimal results.
Key features and benefits:
- Excellent toughness, with impact strength more than ten times that of standard PLA and elongation at break over fifty times that of standard PLA.
- Corrosion resistance, capable of withstanding most organic solvents.
- Superior abrasion resistance and aging resistance.
 Applications:
- Industrial and engineering parts
- Reinforcement for moving parts
- Automotive components
- Drone parts
- Manufacturing tool
